A free arcade · eighteen and over

Eight benches. No money anywhere near them.

Reels cut from stone, twenty-one across the table, a wheel of thirty-seven pockets, a draw of five cards, a rise-or-fall run, two bones, a bag of runes and four longships on open water. Every one of them is wagered in Runes, which this hall prints and which nobody can spend elsewhere.

Your first visit is handed 15,000 Runes, and another 6,000 arrive every day you come back.

One — the benches

Four to start on

Every bench draws on one hoard and runs inside the browser you are reading this in. Rules and the whole paytable sit next to each table, never behind a menu.

Two — the currency

A Rune, in three lines

A Rune is a counter. It keeps score at these benches. It does nothing else, nowhere else, ever.

  1. You are handed 15,000

The hoard is written the first time a bench opens. It sits in your browser, not in an account, so there is no form to fill and no password to lose.

  2. It refills for nothing

Take 6,000 Runes once a day. Drop under 300 and a free lift back to 2,500 waits on any bench page.

  3. It goes at your pace

The number rises and falls while you play. No round starts on its own, no clock pushes anybody into the next one, and the whole hoard resets on request.

A Rune can

  • Wager a round at any of the eight benches
  • Arrive free, daily, with nothing attached
  • Reset to 15,000 whenever asked

A Rune cannot

  • Turn into money, by any route, at any rate
  • Buy goods, services, vouchers or prizes
  • Move to another player or to another site
  • Enter a draw, a raffle or a sweepstake

The whole account of it is here, with every free source set out beside the optional ones.

Three — the standing rules

Five things that hold, always

  • Grown people only

Eighteen and over. Everyone confirms it at the door, and nothing here was built for anybody younger.

  • Amusement, and no other purpose

These benches are a way to spend a quarter of an hour. Earning is not among the things they do.

  • No cash is staked

Nothing is deposited, nothing is wagered in currency, nothing is withdrawn.

  • Nothing is paid out

A Rune stays a Rune. It becomes no cash, no goods, no voucher and no entry into anything.

  • Buying is a choice

Bundles exist, stopping at US$90 a month. Every bench is whole without them.

Four — player care

Made to be left alone

A reminder comes up after 35 minutes at a bench, and again at each stretch after that. There is no autoplay to switch on anywhere. Free Runes keep arriving whether or not anybody ever buys a bundle, which takes the hurry out of buying one. Rules and paytables stay in plain sight, and every outcome is drawn by the generator built into your own browser.

Read Player Care

Winning at a social arcade says nothing about how anyone would fare gambling for money. What happens at these benches is drawn at random and teaches nothing about games played for real stakes.

Five — asked often

Three short ones

Every answer
Is the whole hall free?

It is. The opening 15,000 Runes, the daily 6,000 and the lift off a thin hoard cover all eight benches for as long as anybody wants to sit at them. A bundle is an extra and never a gate.

Can a Rune become money?

No. There is no cashing out, no prize, no voucher and no handing Runes to anyone. They begin and end at the benches, which is the arrangement this hall intends to keep.

Is there anything to sign up for?

Nothing. The hoard sits in this browser's storage. Clear it, change browser or pick up another machine and you simply begin again on 15,000.
